Designated Communities and Designated Communities – Aboriginal Homelessness Funding Streams
With direction from Regina’s Community Advisory Board (CAB), the YMCA of Regina is issuing the following Call For Proposal (CFP) for the Designated Communities and Designated Communities – Aboriginal Homelessness Funding streams of the Homelessness Partnering Strategy.
The deadline for application submissions for this HPS funding is November 13, 2015 no later than 5pm.
Through this CFP, Regina’s CAB will allocate up to $125,000 in remaining 2015-2016 Homelessness Partnering Strategy (HPS) funding. In the first 2015-2016 HPS CFP, over $800,000 of funding was allocated into projects. Applicants may apply for part or all of the $125,000. All funding must be spent by March 31st, 2016. This funding should be considered one-time funding, therefore any projects that run past March 31st, 2016 will need to outline where further funding is going to come from.
This CFP is open to proposals for one-time funding activities that relate to Support Services, Coordination of Resources and Leveraging, Data Collection, or Capital Investment Projects for Designated Communities and Aboriginal Homelessness Funding in Regina, SK. Housing First projects are not eligible for funding through this CFP. Please note that a minimum of 40% of available HPS funds in the 2016/2017 funding cycle will be allocated to Housing First projects.
All approved projects must take place in Regina and must have HPS dollars/funding spent by March 31st, 2016.
